The Rare Book Museum (RBM) works with students in a variety of ways, from providing internships and the Mattord Family Scholarship to aiding in research and offering primary sources for capstone projects. Here we highlight a few noteworthy impacts the RBM and its collections have on KSU’s students.

Camilla

Camilla Stegall

Camilla began volunteering with the UASC and RBM in 2019 and completed an archives internship in 2020. She initiated and completed Honors Applied Learning experiences with the RBM from 2021-2022. 
Camilla worked extensively with JoyEllen to research, promote, and develop the RBM's collection of rare and historic cookbooks. Camilla's work included a blog series, collection development write-ups, and numerous outreach presentations.

  • Bachelor's degree in history, a minor in German, and a certificate in Public History, May 2022
  • Currently an MLIS graduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
