CSM Buildings on the Kennesaw Campus

Science Building (SC) on the Kennesaw Campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • The Science Building, opened in 1996, is a five-story facility located just south of the Student Center, adjacent to the Science Laboratory Building. Encompassing over 104,000 square feet, it houses laboratories, faculty offices, and research spaces that support multiple departments within the College of Science and Mathematics. The building serves as a central hub for instruction, experimentation, and collaboration in the sciences.

Science Laboratory Building (SL) on the Kennesaw Campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • The Science Laboratory is located in between Clendenin and the Science Building on the Kennesaw Campus. Dedicated to scientific teaching and research, the Science Laboratory opened in 2012 featuring 5 floors and over 74,000 square feet. Providing highly effective collaboration and research opportunities for all science and interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate students and faculty members alike.

Clendenin Building (CL) on the Kennesaw Campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • Opening in 2002, the Clendenin Building features over 37,000 square feet and 3 floors of study spaces, state-of-the-art computer classrooms, and faculty offices. Located across from the Siegel Student Recreation & Activities Center, Clendenin houses departments from the College of Science and Mathematics and the College of Computing and Software Engineering.

Mathematics and Statistics Building (MS) on the Kennesaw Campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • The Mathematics and Statistics building was built in 1967 and is next to the Sturgis Library and the Technology Annex on the Kennesaw Campus. With over 31,000 square feet, this building is Kennesaw campus home for the Department of Mathematics. There are several instructional spaces, study areas and faculty offices. The department also maintains an office on the Marietta campus, supporting its presence across both locations. 

Classes for the College of Science and Mathematics also take place throughout the Kennesaw Campus, including, but not limited to, the Prillaman Health Sciences (HS) and Academic Learning Center (ALC) buildings.

CSM Buildings on the Marietta Campus

Academic Building (H) onthe Marietta campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • Established in 1986 and located adjacent to the Lawrence V. Johnson Library, the Academic Building is a three-story facility encompassing over 50,000 square feet. The second floor serves as the primary home for the Department of Physics, including the department’s administrative and faculty offices, classrooms, and laboratories. This building plays a central role in supporting instruction and research in the physical sciences.

Crawford Lab Building (E) on the Marietta Campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • Established in 1962 and recently renovated in 2024, the Crawford Lab Building is a two-story, 31,000-square-foot facility that houses classrooms, laboratories, and faculty offices for both chemistry and biology. It supports a wide range of teaching and research activities across the life and physical sciences. 

Mathematics Building (D) on the Marietta Campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • The Mathematics Building, constructed in 1962 and spanning 28,595 square feet, serves as the primary location for the Department of Mathematics. There are several instructional spaces, study areas and faculty offices. The department also maintains an office on the Kennesaw campus, supporting its presence across both locations. 

Science Lab Annex (GAX) on the Marietta Campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥

  • The Science Lab Annex is a two-story building that opened in 2020. The Science Lab Annex is almost 10,500 square feet and is located across from the Crawford Lab Building.
