This fellowship is open to all undergraduate students from any discipline at Kennesaw State University. Fellows will be expected to work with a faculty advisor to write a paper over the course of their fellowship. In addition to the formal requirements of the fellowship, there will also be opportunities to receive funding to present research at academic conferences.

The Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity (Bagwell Center) Research Fellowship is open to undergraduate students from any discipline or program across Ñý¼§Ö±²¥â€™s campuses. The Fellowship seeks to engage students in the academic conversation about the impact of market institutions on society. Fellows will work with a faculty advisor and Dr. Timothy Mathews (Bagwell Center Director) to produce a paper suitable for publication on the Bagwell Center webpage. In addition to producing a paper, fellows will also be expected to present their original research at a symposium on KSU’s Kennesaw campus during the Spring semester.

The fellowship offers a total stipend of $1,000 to every student accepted into the program who successfully satisfies all requirements. An additional $1,000 will be awarded to the student completing the project chosen by Bagwell Center Faculty as "Best Fellowship Paper of the Year." Fellows are also encouraged to apply for funding opportunities from the Bagwell Center to attend and present their research at academic conferences.
