Goals
The development of clean and reliable energy technologies is critical to meeting the world’s ever-growing energy demands. Our VIP team is dedicated to advancing research that enhances the performance of energy storage systems. We focus on pioneering novel electrode fabrication methods and integrating cutting-edge electrolytes to push the boundaries of efficiency and sustainability. Also, our goal is to training a diverse group of students in both experimental and computational research, preparing them with the theoretical and practical knowledge essential to energy technologies. Our interdisciplinary research team includes engineering faculty from a wide range of backgrounds. Moving forward, we anticipate expanding our collaboration to include faculty and students from chemistry, biology, and various engineering disciplines to explore materials processing, degradation mechanisms, and other critical aspects of energy storage science.
