I am deeply honored to be the recipient of this year’s Helen Ridley Scholarship Award, and I am sincerely grateful for the recognition and support. I strongly believe that the peace and security of any nation are rooted in the conflict literacy of its people. For this reason, I see conflict education as an essential tool for reducing violent conflict within national borders. I am passionate about contributing to this work, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be studying under such astute and accomplished leaders in the field here at the School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development. Their guidance is preparing me to play a meaningful role in advancing national peace and security. I have found a home at the Peace House and for that I remain grateful.
